    I bought one of these years ago, the N version, and it is great. My ATO skid covers it well so I'm not worried about anything shearing it off. I don't know if they had the plastic handle safety back when I bought mine, but you have to pull the handle and turn down in order for it to open the valve, so that would be one magic loogie to be able to knock the valve open while driving.
    Only drawback I see is I would think with the threading going up that the very bottom of the oil pan may have a small bit of oil left in it, and the oil drains a bit slower. But cleanup is easy (drains straight into the big costco milk jug- works great). Once it is full I slide under and catch the rest in the next jug that is ready to go. No mess on the garage floor, and while its draining I go topside and swap the filter.
    Definitely recommend these as long as you have a skid plate or something to protect it.
