After 16 years on the Tundra board I am now on the Tacoma one. I miss the tundra but the new Tacoma sure is a nice ride.

I sorta did the same thing. I traded my 2000 Tundra last September for a GMC Sierra 1500, search my past posts for a pic. It had the dealer installed 6" lift with other goodies, but it was just too big and too high to live with on the daily. Traded it for my 16 Tacoma Limited rwd.

I'm enjoying the Tacoma, but it has some flaws that are disappointing since it's a Toyota. This truck has a lot to live up to because my Tundra was like "money in the bank"!

Gen 1 Tundras were the best. Not trying to be uber macho with ridiculous Mack truck grills like every truck that is now on the market.

The Tundra had been a great truck but it was time to refresh. Only had 158K when I sold it. I put 100k the first three years and then bought a tercel for the mpg's. I was not sure about the quicksand color until I was able to see it in person and was sold on it. Have had toyo trucks since 1984 and hope this one is going to be trouble free like the last 3.

Next project is to get this aluminum ladder rack welded up and installed. Hard to haul 20' steel and 16' lumber without one.

I had an '00 Tundra Limited 4x4, same color. Great truck; I loved that 4.7l engine - it was perfect in that truck. I wish they'd make that size again. I'd trade my Tacoma for one with updated creature comforts and that engine.

I traded this for that twice in the last 12 months. And I'm fighting the urge to trade this for that again! Damn I dislike black paint. :(

I love my SF Giants Orange and Black Taco! I'm really hoping this series with the Cubs that starts tonight isn't torture.

OMG! Another person like me!!!! I traded 2 "thises",'00 Tundra & FX-35 AWD, for one that, Sierra, last September! In April I traded that, for this, Tacoma, in April! Now I wish my Tacoma was the size of my 1st Gen Tundra. It was the perfect size for me. I find my Tacoma too small and the New Tundras too big. I frustrate myself sometimes when it comes to cars/trucks...never satisfied!

Had three Tundra's that we really liked, 2008, 2011 and a 2014. The Taco we love, great truck.

Great motor, just wish it didn't have that timing belt.
