I was assured by the dealer and other TW posters the silver ones ran on unicorn farts but that turned out to be BS. Turns out some on this site think it's ok to mislead new members.

Not sure if the photo shows a camo'd concept truck or a former Tacoma owner driving their new Colorado off the lot. In the latter case, maybe they should be wearing the :anonymous:

Edit: when I said former Tacoma owner I meant 2nd Gen :D:D:D:bananadead:

And you bitch about having to bring your Tacoma in for issues. You have. You have no idea how many times you'd be bringing that back in. I wish you trade your Tacoma in just so you can see the grass isn't greener on the other side.

I had a 2003 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 for years. Bought it used with 116k on it. Drove the piss out of it to 200k. Sold it for $5500. Never in the shop once. Bought a 2011 Denali drove for 3 years and 36k miles never one problem. traded for a BMW and it was always in the shop. Tacoma been in the shop 4 times now in 6 months of ownership.

I'm going against the circle jerk here but Toyota reliability is overplayed.

One of my buddies had a danger ranger. That thing wouldn't die ever, he beat the piss out of that poor truck. Another had a DSM dodge D50, another truck that was bullet proof. Neither left us stranded out in the woods and both lived hard lives.
