Spent 40 minutes on the phone with my CC company to dispute my extra charge from the hotel. Every time they tried to transfer me I was sent back to the original menu. Punch in my info again and have to start over. Finally stopped a girl long enough to hear me say "do not transfer me" "put the phone down at your desk and get the manager/supervisor that I know is somewhere around you and have them pick up your phone". Just to have the manager try to tell me I just have to contact the hotel. Finally after talking to this woman for a bit she said she can't do anything because it's a "pending transaction" and would need to be completed by them to dispute it or have the hotel send over a "proof of clearing" letter to have the CC company take it off my statement. FINALLY! Something to move ahead. Called the hotel to give them the fax number or email address I got from the CC company to send the clearing letter to and the girl in the accounting office (apparently the only one that can help me) left early for the weekend.

Nice! I need to find some good places and time to ride. I'm set up on some pretty gnarly knobbies, I need to put them to use.

 

You and me both. CT doesn't have any legal areas to ride a quad. My 1/3 acre yard is just too darn small...
