what's at the bottom of my rear diff fluid I just changed out. The color of my oil looks like poop brown compared to the Carmel color of the new stuff. Took my 30 minutes if you don't count me fumbling with the pump or the seized fill nut.
And this is the second bottle so it has even less than the other full bottle.

Also found bits of leaves lol.

 

Old gear lube is dark brown or black when it needs to be changed. Luckily, if it had water in it it would be kind of a milky tan/yellow color so dark is good. The debris isn't good though. Not sure how that might have gotten in there.

 

Good thing I changed it then.

 

That's the new oil or the oil you took out?

That's strange, like @Taco No Baka said if it got water in it it would be milky but that's the only thing I can think of. Going though mud hole might have picked up a little water & debris.

 

I expected mud or at least some water but not really getting any separation with it.

 

they have those cheapo ones at advanced or autozone, fits multiple bolt patterns, as long as you have enough thread, you could also replace your lugs with toyota matrix ones

 

most rims have those holes next to them, so that if they did go past spacer, it'd still be fine

 

I got some cheap ones to get me by for the next couple days but I just went with the spidertacx 1.25 as I read lots of good things about them I guess my trucks just gona get dirtier quicker when I go mudding

I'm also kinda hoping that it's not like it was this morning when we are working. Just loading the OGT on the trailer and chaining her down, I was sweating my arse off. I couldn't have been more drenched if I had stood in the shower with my clothes on. Actually, it was weird because I opted to ride my bicycle over to my uncle's place (3 or 4 miles) to pick up the tow rig and I hardly broke a sweat doing that, but when I got home and started loading the OGT I was cooking.

 

I thought I heard on the news that a "cool" front is coming through so it hopefully will knock that humidity down some

 

I'll be giving out free welding lessons tomorrow at the Todd Mahal/AllenFab compound if anyone wants to swing by. Lee is obviously going to be there along with @xweslingx
