the first couple of days were the worst for me after the operation it gets better. your not whinning it sucks being in your condition. i lost a battle today i've fought for 14 years. i'm now on insulin because the oral meds weren't getting it done on their own. like you i don't enjoy being in this position, however, it beats the alternative. we're all pulling for you. it'll get better soon

Didn't sleep much last night, but dozed off around 10AM and just woke up. Pain has subsided a bit. When they did the surgery, I was strapped to a table that was sort of a tee-shaped affair. The arms would fold up so they were above my head. Apparently they had 'em raised up while I was out. Now my shoulders are killing me. Most of the abdominal pain has eased up. I woke up and fed the birds, watched it pour down rain, and now I'm getting sleepy again.

Ok not trying to toot my own horn here but my decision to redo my old snap on boxes I think was correct. Front is done and the sides and back will get done this weekend. So one set will be done. Then to put new draw liners in it.

Then to start on the other.
Will take a few months but I think its worth it. Doing the drawers SUCKED...

I've got 2 boxes....and 2 top boxes. Both Snap On. One is a Rick Mears Indy 500 special edition. Other is Dale Earnhardt Special edition. They stay covered up when I'm not in 'em.

I wasn't going to Spend thousands for just mostly storage. These will be full to the brim. I may need to buy another. I have two more out of view.

thanks susan i was with the dr for a couple of hours this morning and after reviewing my glucose levels even ater he added a 4th oral med they were still too high. he said he could try tweeking this or that but didn't think would make much difference. we concluded this was the best avenue for my health. he knows how hard i've fought this but in the end it was inevitable. maybe it's for the best but i feel very defeated
