    id like to pick up an air compressor just to throw behind my back seat for emergency situations and airing up when needed. Can anyone recommend one? I don't want a cheap-o $19.99 Walmart one. But don't want super expensive either. I'm thinking $50-100 range? What should I get? Amazon preferred.

    I've got this one mounted as an OBA compressor. It runs my locker and inflates all 4x32" tires in about 10 mins.

    That one works but it takes a lot more work if you want to upgrade it to a hard mounted OBA

    Whats the reason for going hard mounted? Its small, portable and fills things with air. Dont think id need anything more fancy then that

    I got a pancake compressor from Harbor Freight which was around $50 after coupon & has low enough draw that I can plug it into the outlet in the bed. Maybe not small enough if you're looking to leave it in the truck though. I also don't know that I'd trust a HF el cheapo compressor to survive years of vibrations & bumps even though they vibrate when they're running.

    Air locker and constant use filling tires after offroading. We don't know the full extent of OPs uses so I was throwing it out there.
