This is the gas mileage on my truck since delivery I update on average about once every 2 to 3 weeks so you get a very accurate trend analysis and.much more realistic than a snapshot in time that many seem to like to post here.

I can average very close to 18 on normal driving. But I have to do it the old school way

My fuel economy has become slightly worse with more miles on truck

Hey! Don't dis an old man. I get confused now and then. Why would ya buy a 2016 to get bad mpg. Get a good 2nd gen and you can get the same bad mileage if you keep you foot on the floor. Waste of money. And stay out of my yard with your truck. I'm gonna watch the game.;)

You can call it a snap shot all you want  but as you well know you can go back and look at every one of my post every time I posted my MPG and it`s been at or above 21.

It`s your problem that you cant keep your foot out of it long enough to get good gas mileage.

Exactly, and the crybabies love it.

Are they really so stupid to keep something that they constantly complain about ?

    That`s what I call idiocy.

He only went 37.5 miles since he put fuel in it. I guess I will go to flagstaff az and fill up and drive down to the valley and top that. Lol

Well since I get 400 at least per tank, your math doesn't add up there pal. It's miles per gallon per TRIP. It clearly says I MILKED it for all she had and it was at a slight down hill. I'm not trying to pull no wizardry on you guys. I was just surprised to see that number. But hey, since I average 22-27 mpg per every trip and my tank average is never below 22 mpg I'll just take that as a win for me. Compared to my FJ that barely seen over 12mpg.

There should be a magic number used for a sample. I use +100 miles. My last post was about a 120 mile round trip. Today's trip was to the mt reiner visitors center 186 miles. I got 21.4 mpg. Almost all of my trips are combined hwy city and back road. I found for me the 2k rmp is the sweet spot as indicated by a previous poster. Lugging the engine below that hurts milage a lot.

I agree there should be a sample like that or calculate at fuel up (my favorite). You tend to get a real world average.

For the manual it works better around 1750-2000. In 5th I can do 40 and maintain on semi flat surface and get around 25-30mpg per insta Eco.
