Edit- NVM I was looking at the 3.4. the V8 got 300 hp and 400 torque with the TRD SC. Not to fuckin shabby.

My aged front end doesn't go with with my body lines either.

Turbo diesel 4 would possibly make me switch. Drove my uncle's Hilux in the Philippines on the family ranch. Awesome torque. No need to regear with 33's. Also rented a 4x4 Isuzu DCSB in Guatemala and drove about 750 miles in 9 days. 28 mpg's and plenty of torque from the 2.5 liter. With turbo diesels the HUGE benefit is range (obviously). It's like carrying an extra 20 gallons of fuel.
