I actually ran out and bought some right away. It didn't seem to work for me, but I'm going to keep trying. I probably didn't use enough of it or do it right.

You can take it apart and polish it back. I have done it on many instrument clusters.

Are these the new extended travel version kings, or the regular ones that have been out for a few years ?

If they are the new ones, how much lift did you get on the initial install?

I picked my Taco up last night! Wow this truck is nice!!! I'm upgrading from a well used '04 4cyl 5spd 2wd Frontier I've been driving for the past decade. This evening I had a chance to take it off pavement and test 4wd, locker, cc and mts.

Snapped this pic right before my phone died

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
Did the EXACT same thing! Drives me crazy looking at that scratch.

I just can't wait to get a production intake when the start making them! I feel so lucky to be a part of this whole thing. I hope other 16 owners will like it as much as we do.

Well, with this latest round of revisions, I'd say we are getting really close to production. They are definitely taking their time to do it right. You really get the sense that Donavan loves his job and really pays attention to the details

I totally agree and Keith is a super good dude too. The whole thing has been awesome. Can't thank you enough for getting me involved. You are going to the expo this weekend right?

If it makes you feel any better I think that clear plastic is the wrong type for that use... Mines all jacked up from the minions at the car wash. It's 2016, they should have chosen the right plastic for that application. At least it's easy enough to replace.

Love my GSD but not his constant shedding. I dread putting him in my truck. I'm going to build one of those back seat dog platforms I've seen posted on here.

I understand the shedding, I call her a German shedder.

Throwing the blanket down helped a lot. I agree with you on the shedding thing, so much fur everywhere all the time. Little tumbleweeds of fir moving through the house on the tile is just too much fun.:tumbleweed: He's such a cool dog though so it makes up for.it.
