60+ year old thread.

We have a couple of flocks around me. Like 35 each. Boy don't they get pissed at each other. Had a fight right in the middle of the road last month. They squawk at each other from each side of the tree line.

All this rain we've been having, I think I have mold growing behind my ears. We're still waiting for spring here. Only supposed to reach mid 60's.
No turkeys around me Carl, but a friend has a momma red fox and 3 pups living behind their house. Like having them around as they keep the Canadian goose population under control. At least someone can hunt them.

 

Starting to have a little free time. Trying to find a decent shock set up fro my 5 lugger. I think Bilstein 4600 series is the best option at this time.

Sorry I have been tardy this past 6 months. Too much to do during the day and a lot of meetings at night during the week. I finally finish a 4 year course in June that has me attending a meeting every Tuesday night from September through June.

My back is doing a lot better but I still tire out quicker than I would like. Time to get back to modding the Tacoma.

 

Going down into the 40's here tonight. So far my veggies are doing OK but as you would expect not growing too fast. I just started to plant last weekend.

Canadian geese are nice to look at, but if there's enough of them they sure do make a mess.
Hit the lake again last night, we managed 2 LM bass, 2 stripers, and 1 walleye. We are having a horrible year on the walleyes so far.

Good to hear the back is doing better Tom.

 

It has been a long road Carl. The back feels good but one bad decision and the pain would come back. I try to lift correctly and not lift too much weight. Stretching every day.

I think so too. Busy is good. Working on a church garden right now. Feels good to do meaningful manual labor. With a little luck I will set the last 5 garden fence posts today and the raised bed lumber will be delivered.

Does anyone have any experience building the wood frame for a raised bed? Thinking of building a template then setting it on the grouns to spray paint where the posts for the frame will go, Dig out the post holes, assemble the frames on level ground then drop them into place.
