    You wire up both into the same 4 wires so you can hook up either a 4 or a 7, the only three wires you leave go is the blue, black and yellow. Those are for a brake controller which I doubt either of us will ever need so I just taped those off!

    Hello same parts here, when you wired the cut off 4 way to the 7 way did you wire exact color for color or is it 4 way yellow to the 7 way red on pig tail? Also any one having problems with those two bolts on curt hitch the trick is to poke a screw driver in the hole and tilt that metal tab sideways. I had the same problems until I saw E trailers vid.

    Correct, and just cut the 4 pin off of that T Connector harness and wire the 4/7 right to those 4 wires and put that in the stock location and you're ready to go. Looks just like factory!

    Purchased them both off of e-trailer at the time but if their the same or cheaper on Amazon and you can get them quicker I'd go amazon!
