Their 295 is cheaper than their 285 though if I remember right.. I've heard so much good reviews about these tires.

Did you get the vibrations fixed in the front of your truck too?

    Got all vibes fixed.

Just got home from the trip. Holy cow that was so much fun! I reset my trip MPG on the UG for the highway ride home....it shows 23.3mpg  I guess the combination of properly adjusted brakes as well as losing the weight of the hard shell made a tremendous difference. I haven't seen mileage this good since I was stock! I was cruising 70-75 the whole way

I've never seen that kind of mileage in my truck... I made it to 15mpg after resetting it to drive to Oregon. Glad to hear your vibes are all gone. Them tundra brakes look SEX-AY!!!

Damn 23mpg is what I get never.... :anonymous: I'm averaging about 15mpg right now, but I'm mostly street driving right now.

I couldn't believe it! I was in shock when it didn't go down to "normal" by the time I got home....here's the proof though!

In case anyone was wondering, that 102" whip antenna performs so much better than the FireStik I had on before. There was a point in the trail where we were a good distance apart and only another whip user and myself could talk. The fiberglass users were out of range. 102" whip FTW! There is also far less static than the fiberglass alternative.

After driving through all the dust, I think it is a good time to clean my air filter...

After I got home from the trip, I started cleaning my truck the next morning. I washed, clay barred, waxed, cleaned and sealed the softtopper, totally detailed the interior, armor-alled the door seals, and powerwashed the undercarriage. The paint feels smooth as a baby's butt. I'm amazed with how well the clay bar worked. Also cleaned the engine bay and the K&N filter. I'm going to rotate my tires this week because they look to be wearing slightly unevenly. It's probably too late now that I can notice it, but I'm going to do it anyway. Not sure if you'll be able to see on your device screen, but there was a visible line down my hood from the clay barred/waxed side to the original side. I am willing to bet that this truck has never seen a clay bar before.

I also put my front mud flaps back on to try to keep my 2 days of work looking good for as long as I can. I hate how they look, but if they keep road grime off my fresh paint, they're good enough until it gets dirty again.

Probably a crack in the paint, maybe a scratch, too hard to tell from the images.

ALSO, why is your cb antenna stuck in your door?

    Not sure what you mean

It's not stuck in the door, that's where I have the tie-down. That way I fit in the garage. The whip works so much better than the FireStik, by the way.
