No prob. When I installed before I had the second battery, I had the same issue. It all worked like it was supposed to after I put the second battery.

For those of you running Blue Sea Systems ML-ACR with the remote switch, does your LED lights on the switch work? Mine don't. I thought it might be a defect so I contacted Blue sea and they sent me a replacement. Same result though. I've quadruple checked my wiring (which is really simple). No fuses are tripped and the switch still functions correctly. Thoughts?

Yeah that's weird. On mine both are on when in "auto" or "on" and both are off when "off"

I didn't wire mine:oops: I got it from off grid engineering already connected. But when I cut and redid it, when I routed it through the firewall, I didn't have one of the wires in the correct spot. I don't remember exactly which pin, but I know the LEDs didn't light up. Then I realized the mistake and changed the wires and works fine. Does it still function ok? @HeliMedic is the one that makes the kit I got, maybe he could shed some light.

My lights don't come on either but I hear the ACR switch on/off so I know it's working. Maybe I have some wires connected wrong?

Mine works fine including the light in the switch. I just followed the wiring diagram supplied.

For those of you that purchased your ACR and switch through me, check the 2 amp mini fuse on the harness near the ACR. Then check your connections at the switch, specifically the red and yellow wires. Wiggle them and see if your lights come on.

When wired properly, the ACR switch will have BOTH LED's lit up when the batteries are connected (either in "on" mode or "auto" mode) and NEITHER LED lit up when the batteries are disconnected (either in "off" mode or "auto" mode).

Im not sure why Blue Sea wants them wired this way, but they do.

Your lights should be working. If they are not working, your ACR is operating in default auto mode. Let me know if I can help.

I just got done disassembling mine and starting from scratch and I still have the same issue. All wires are in place. There aren't that many to screw up.

What happens when you connect them "on"? Can you hear the ACR switch?

The post "+8" is for the LEDs and needs to have power wire in addition to connecting to post 3

With my switch in the on position I disconnect "+8" and the LEDs immediately turn off and as soon as I touch my all time hot wire back to that post it comes back on

I have it wired just like the schematic and still no dice. It's connected to the auxiliary battery with a 2 amp fuse. If I pull the fuse out, the whole switch doesn't work so I know its getting power through there.

Damn man, I hate it when things should work and they don't! :frusty: I feel your pain. If your fuse is good and your power is good, maybe check all of your grounds :notsure: idk whenever I can't figure something out I take it back to the basics... Good luck brother!

I thought of the ground too. Tried a different location and still no change. I'm really stumped. I mean, it still does the job, but's its annoying that this little thing just doesn't want to cooperate.
