The post was about where people could readily buy ammo. I simply posted where I have bought lots of it and where all calibers are in stock about every time I'm there...

Due to bad decisions in my youth, black powder arms are the only choice for me. They are a lot of fun ,but a pain to clean. I cast my own bullets and in a pinch I have the recipe to make the powder. So ammo is not really a problem in my case. Although I do have to buy caps. A friend has been making his own caps,so that will be my next project. Casting is relatively cheap, I get the lead from roof flashing, dive belt weights found at flea markets and yard sales. Both are soft lead that I use for my pistols. Wheel weights contain more tin therefore the lead is harder. I use this for my rifles with a patch so the harder lead doesn't foul the rifling.
If this is the wrong place for this ,please feel free to move, just trying to contribute .

Yeah, my LGS was always dry about 3 months ago and now can always get some there.
Granted, still 1 box per person, but is there

I think people are starting to realize it's more fun buying a new gun and a little bit of ammo than only ammo.

Anybody find 6.5 Grendel that doesn't cost $1 per round? Haven't been able to find a single box of the Wolf ammo that's $6 a box
