Good Morning all! I'm supposed to run my first "official" 5k of the year today but I'm not sure the weather's gonna cooperate. Low 50s right now and rain is due to start any minute. A few years ago I wouldn't bat an eye at running in the rain no matter what the temp, now not so much. I hope y'all have a nice, safe weekend.

Blue....I hope you're feeling better, get some rest.

    Morning old peoples.

Friend brought us some Brazilian coffee from a recent trip. Tastes nasty, metallic after taste. But it is coffee.

A little late to the party, work was totally wild this past week. A belated WELCOME HOME BLUE! :woot:

Toolboxes are looking good Mike. I still have the Craftsman boxes I bought in the 1970's, they do the job well enough for my weekend warrior wrenching. I was always jealous of the guys with the really good boxes like yours.

Rob, took the mug out today. Put 4 big ice cubes in it and after 5 hours of being closed up in the truck, there was still ice and the water was nice and cold. Definitely worth the $9.47

    afternoon 50's.

It has nothing to do with the tool box or the tools In it. It's the person using them. Don't be Jealous of a big box. Just means more debt for the idiot buying it.. Lol.
Many many moons ago there was an old tech. His box was old back then. Couldn't close the drawers, or the top because it was full and bent. Half the size of the other "big guns". It was all his. I'm just trying to make it look presentable. Being 2 colors bugs the shit out of me. Total cost will be about 100 bucks.
Can't buy 2 snap on red tops for that. I think I spent less than 500 for these two husky's total. Compared to 4 or 5000. Tools are going to sit in them and used a little. Not severe everyday use. It's all I need. If I work part time I'll buy a craftsman or simular to hold them at the shop.
No need for 10 grand boxes. But if you give me one I wouldn't turn it down. Lol.

I couldn't buy something like that and use it on the job. Way to much banging and throwing tools. Lol

I worked a job (that I hated) years ago. They pissed me off over a few different things. They had a program where they would pay half of your toll bill. I sold a car and had $4400 burning a hole in my pocket. I called the Snap on guy and told him I needed to spend $8800. Bought the Mears box, top and bottom, and stocked it with a BUNCH of goodies.

Earnhardt box was a birthday gift from my son. It's mostly filled with antique tools and fishing tackle.

They stay covered most of the time.

Box @ work is el-cheap-o Grainger box.

I'm happy with mine. I've got a smoothie straw in it and love it. Saw some stainless steel straw's and not sure I want them  I also have a cheap coozie on mine... don't like the sound it makes when putting it down :anonymous:

    How's Rob today?

:sorry: Mike.... If it's just a light rain, go!! A little water never killed anyone

    Feel better soon.

    How are you doing today?
