I'm pretty open minded with vehicles. Does that have the 8 or the 2.0turbo

Genisis coup has a v6 with 350hp 300tq, and it weighs more than a brz, but less than a mustang.

Oh I was off, just looked at the site. For the price it seems like a good drive.
I have not seen to many around me just more mustangs and challengers.

For me it is about being light weight, nimble, and rev happy. There was near no body roll with the low center of gravity. Each driver is different and has different needs/wants. If I were to choose a 2 seater again I would get either Miata hardtop convertible Brz or Cayman.

I myself like low end of the line torque and straight line top speed. I'd still love to drive a brz or miata because I've never felt that kind of handling. I think it would be awesome!

Was wondering if anyone else had a rough time shifting into first after coming to a stop during a ride on a new 16? Just picked up my 16 OR MT a week ago and I've had three occasions where I literally could not force it into first after coming to a dead stop - all on a flat grade.

Haven't had that problem, *yet*, but I find the upshift from second to third sometimes results in a "grinding" noise. Overall, I rate the M/T shifting and processes involved as no better than adequate. Worse, there is no reason for it to be that way, considering that most M/T vehicles these days and for many decades shift as smoothy as slicing a knife through butter.

I have an eight ball threaded to fit a 2nd Gen tacoma shifter. It may fit other models but I don't want to look it up atm. Pm me if interested

I love Porsches with an honest row through the gears manual. 993 with a 6 speed is just so mechanical and visceral. You feel like the car is an extension of yourself. You feel the road conditions change, you feel each tire going over a painted line. It's amazing.

It's a little disconcerting. Been driving manuals my whole life and this is the first time I've been unable to get into a gear. I'm going to chalk it up to it being brand new.

To your point, once I'm going I have no real issues on upshift, relatively smooth all the way. Well, smooth for a truck I should say.

Reference the difficult to get it I to first gear thing.... It happened with my scion all the time. What I did was just put it in any gear, usually second. Let off the clutch a tad. Push clutch back in, then it slides right into first.

Ha, that was my first instinct too. Rolled through a bunch of gears and was still stuck. Usually rights itself if I roll a bit too, but I've always been on a flat grade.

Does dead stop mean coming to a stop light and going into neutral?

I got 5000 miles on my now, love it more every time I drive it. Once in a while just for fun wait for it to hit rev limit before shifting each gear, sure gets up to speed limit quick.

Just going to leave this here too. One of my favorite Manuals.

Is that pattern for real? If so, hot damn. It would take a real man to drive that...
