I like it because it's simple, OEM and the crossbars can tuck away when not in use which means less wind noise. But to each their own. There are way better looking roof racks out there but most come with a permanent crossbar or basket. And for the reasons above, I chose this one.

To each their own is right, cause I personally like the look if the OEM racks

How difficult is it to install the OEM roof racks and predator steps? I'm ordering these and I figured I'd install myself if it isn't hard to save some money.

    Thanks!

The predator steps were extremely easy and lighter than it looks so I was able to do it by myself without any stands to hold it up. The roof rack was easy as well but highly recommend that you trim the front piece on the roof left over after you remove the factory weather strips (pic below not my truck). Also try to slightly bend the front part forward after you mount the front bracket. These steps will ensure your rack sits snug towards the front. Other than that, you should be good to go. Good luck!!!

Awesome, thank you for the info!

Btw I really like your build. We would probably have almost the same truck if yours was black haha we have the same taste in mods.

Thanks! I like simple mods. Soon I'll change out the grill for the BAMF blacked out grill. Will post pics as soon as I install them.

Can't wait to see that grille! I've been following that thread also. I'm curious to see what the color matched black on that grille will look like, seems like the only examples have been of the default powder coated black.

Love the build going for almost exact same - I am going to dip the front lower facia though.

I thought about it before too but plastidip fades after awhile and it's a magnet for dirt so I'm trying not to plastidip anything this time around with this truck

Went to BAMF's website and checked out this grill insert. Did you select the "Black (color matched) [+25.00]" option?

No I didn't select the +$25 black color match option. That option is for the Black Sand Pearl paint. Mine is the basic black textured powder coat which doesn't require any selections.

Looking good! Looking to add the oem roof rack and some rails to mine. How are the rails holding up? Any big differences from the nfab ones?

Thanks!! I personally like the look of the predator steps better, more aggressive. It holds up really well. But neither nfab or the predator steps are as sturdy and functional as actual sliders. Depending if you want true body protection or side steps. I chose to use it more for side steps.
