For what it's worth I'm building my truck to do long trips on back roads with some wheeling. It's not a LS tube chassis rock crawler. I DONT GIVE A FLYING FUCK how low my Jerry can is.

Tatts got a bumper that yeah was probably not the most protective and he realized that but everyone nitpicked at it instead of just saying "hey I think you need to add a plate to that to protect the radiator" like YOU @cynicalrider had done...

 

What it really comes down to is that you tend to give advice based on second hand information rather than personal experience and that gets on peoples nerves.
