What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Pretty straight forward, maybe 45 min - 1 hours with switchpro. Just bolted to 2 existing holes in fender and ran wires. I will probably fab up a more sturdy mount in the future but it works great for now.

Yes, there's plenty of room. On the passenger side I unbolted the wiper fluid reservoir just to give me a little more room to work while I was installing. I zip tied the wires together then zip tied them to another wire to keep them from hanging down in the bumper.

I got them on eBay. These are oem which cost more

 

I broke mine too. So fragile. I used 3m double sided tape (same stuff I used when I removed and blacked out my Tacoma side emblems) to hold my grill emblem back on. Still there.

Cool. Never heard of the switchpro before but I like the concept. Where do you have it mounted?

 

You should paint the "trd" in the grill so it stands out. Imo

I have the same problems as stated. My concern is the wide range of lazy dealers that won't fix the problem and when I call Toyota they act like they never heard of the problem. This is my first Toyota and I like the truck even with some of the issues but not at all impressed with the service support or Toyota Corp. in general.

 

What tail pipe is that? I have been looking for a black one.

 

He just took the OEM chrome one and plasti-dipped it.

 

Should be interesting to see what it does after it gets really hot

according to tutorial videos on youtube it holds up just fine on exhaust tips. I've never seen anybody try it myself though

 

Or you can save $100 and use high heat black paint.
That's what I did. Easy, and looks great.
