sounds like he got the wrong one.

My solid fold 2.0 (and there is only ONE model for the '16 trucks) fits like the link above.

I think you mentioned this before, and someone already told you that it sounds like your buddy got the wrong one.

This may is a dumb question. I'm picking my 3rd gen DCSB MT up in two weeks and want the dealer to take care of any factory issues before I take the truck. I've noticed ATF is the main issue. But since my truck is a Manuel is there a MTF like the ATF. Would it also most likely be low and go through the same process to be checked like the ATF ?

Just make sure they check it properly (manually) before you take delivery. Make them prove it. I did not or have not had the issue but it always in the back of my mind

There is MTF but I haven't read anything about people finding them low. They can still check it very easy remove the fill plug and the oil should be about level with the threads. Not anywhere near the procedure as the AT a 2-3 minute check with the MTF. Same for the differentials. People have been reporting them low from the factory. If you have a 4x4 ask them to make sure the drive line zerks have been properly greased. There also has been an issue with them being bone dry. Enjoy the new truck. This is an excellent forum to gain information about your truck. Most people are very helpful.

The 2016 doesn't come with a spare tailgate key . Always good to have a spare- just in case.

Mine didn't come with any keys. They lost the one key, and for some reason they decided to replace the whole lock. I asked for and received two keys for the tailgate. Seems wrong not to have a spare key.

That only applies to the non-push start trim levels. For anyone with the push button start, we have a separate key for the tailgate. The actual key inside the FOB only unlocks the door, until I had realized there was a separate key back in December, I was confused as to how to unlock the tailgate.

I didn't even realize there was a tire pressure screen there, but I've never noticed a screen for parking assist. I would think that would pop up when the alarm is going off.

Not in my truck at the moment... But I think that screen only pops up when the sensors are going off. I seem to recall a red dot on the vehicle outline indicating which sensor was sounding?

As you back up it will pop up as you get close to an object and show the screen to let you know how close you are, that is the only time it shows.
