Hopefully there are some other beer drinkers that collect beer glasses and want to share them.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Brauerei Spezial, bought this at their Restaurant in Bamberg. I toured the Weyerman malting plant a short walk from downtown Bamberg.

Hand made glass from Staropramen purchased at the brewery in Prague. Paid $20US for their tour which was pretty lame, not a tour at all just a few rooms with some old brewing equipment and some canned audio. 2 very beautiful bartenders were fun talking to in the post tour tasting room.

Ummendorf Pils from Ummendorf Germany, small 1200 hl/year brewery, the Brewmaster gave me this one, they were actually phasing this model out as the tgreen handles were breaking regularly, this could be a rarity someday.

Warka, one of Poland's oldest breweries, founded in 1478, got this one at a bar in Krakow. I haggled with the bartender on this on, he wanted $10US but settled for $5 and pocketed it.

Show off your glasses and include any info on how you obtained.

Here is an oddball krackled glass that I've never seen in a beer glass besides this one. This is from Wagner Brau in Offenberg Germany, established 1847. It is pretty common to have the little doily thing added to the stem of Pilsners in parts of Germany. I took one with the coaster too. Got this at a bar in Triberg in the Black Forest area of Germany, the hot bartender was a huge Rod Stewart fan and had pictures of the Mod one all over the bar, I was able to bluff that I was also a fan and when I offered to buy the glass she gave it to me.

This was an unfiltered Pils (naturtrub)

I like those too, grew up with that type in WI. Common in WI and MN and elsewhere. I remember draft Old Style for $0.45 and Special Export $0.55 in that size.

We've got one bar in town that still uses them for PBR.

Japanese style stoneware. Beer stays cold, glass doesn't sweat.

This one is from G Heileman's but only says Kraeusening, their trademarked term for naturally carbonated. Gonna have to stop using the flash, this one looks filthy even though it looked clean.

    Very Nice.

Your post with the Schneider glass inspired this.

A 1 liter Maß (12 oz bottle for scale) that I, umm, "borrowed" from the Hacker-Pschorr festhalle at the '92 Oktoberfest. Two and a half pounds of glass plus the weight of the beer is a great excuse for exercising too.

How about a pair from the beer tent at a boyscout outing? It was for the youngsters, so I think the 0.25L size is appropriate.

Really dropped the ball on this one, decided to try to get it going again.

Here is a totally inappropriate combination, Vudu glass from Birrificio Italiano, this is really a Berliner Weisse glass but this Italian brewery decided it would be a good Dunkel Weizen glass? So what the hell, I'll use it for an old classic Ultra Premium Lager Heileman's Special Export the beer I grew up with in La Crosse WI. I got the glass at the brewery northern suburb of Milan.

Andechs Kloster Brewery established 1455, one of a few Monastic breweries in Germany, Benedictine monks, not as famous as the Trappists. Located southwest of Munich, got this at the brewery. Some may remember when Pabst made a beer named Andeker as their Super Premium competing with Michelob and of course Special Export in WI.

If nothing else, this exercise will clean some glasses that have been gathering dust.

You can still see Andeker signs in WI.

De Koninck from Antwerp Belgium. No story here, pretty sure I bought this at The Falling Rock in Denver during one of their annual clearance sales. Pretty glass but it is really top heavy, more like drinking a large martini.

Potosi beer, originally from tiny Potosi WI pop. 675 just up the Mississippi from Dubuque IA. And a few miles from University of Wisconsin Platteville where I went to college. I have a friend whose grandfather worked there in the 40s. At the location of brewery that began in 1852 is now a revived Potosi craft brewery and The American Breweriana's National Brewery Museum.
