Thanks! Can you hear the bulb fans inside the cab?

I have the same light on my motorcycle (really happy with it) and have been thinking of putting them on the Taco too.

There's a second rattle can in the picture, and his post says he painted the tip. In betting he put enough thought into it to get a high temp paint.

For the few minutes I had them on I couldn't. When I was testing them before install they didn't sound loud enough to notice over engine and road noise.

True. I didn't look at the actual prices, I just saw them when I was looking around.

I did exactly this! seems to be holding alright, but it bugs me knowing there's a broken part in my brand spanking new truck, even if the part is purely cosmetic :) In the future if I need to remove it again I'll be a little more careful and maybe use a heat gun on the little clips.

Pic of dipped grill and the massive shuttle fuel tank lurking :D

Thanks man and it's actually Hobart. The snow has finally melted enough so that you can make it up the 4WD road to it. There's still some parts where you have to go through some and around a tree that fell

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
Relentless fab (and probably others) sell hi lift mounts that go in the stock bed channels. Does anyone know how that would work with the factory tonneau cover? What about an aftermarket like the tuxedo?

I'm worried that the jack would be too high for the covers. I don't have a cover now, but was looking to get one and wanted it to fit into my master plan.

It will show on the Toyota web site also. At the top of the page is a "Owners" link. Follow the instructions and set up an account.

    .
Put my 6' UnderCover SE bed cover on earlier today (had to go to hardware store to get longer bolts & washers :annoyed:).

I like this hard bed cover ... except directions and parts list and bolts were wrong ...

Tacoma is about a month old and I took that $450.00 worth of plastic wrap  off the hood, front fenders and left it on the mirrors for now.

Now, wash and clean under hood and inside cabin area ... and put some things in a cargo box in the weatherproof & secured bed.

I have the Relentless fab quick fist mounts and they work perfectly with the factory cover. I'll be getting the high lift jack once I get a bumper and plan on mounting it the same.
