Suggestions on a really bumpy road near San Mateo

like the title says, I'm looking for a bumpy road near San Mateo. I have a couple in mind but looking for suggestions. I will be testing out some LED headlights for stability over rough terrain. If you know a particularly rough road, preferably in a dark non-lit area let me know. Thanks!

 

Alpine rd off of Skyline? How close to San Mateo does it need to be? Crystal Springs rd? I can think of a ton...

 

Yeah thought about those but trying to find a particularly rutted up bumpy road to really put the lights to the test. Keep the suggestions coming! Anywhere on the peninsula is fine.

 

Rockaway Beach Ave in Pacifica is a holy hell of a public road.

Westline Dr Pacifica out to Mussel Rock is a shitshow of a public road.

All roads in the Emerald Hills Estate area in San Carlos and Woodside.

There are soo many public works areas that are underfunded here in the county its insane!

Most municipalities are flush with funds right now but can't seem to fix the damn roads!

 

I work for the county and drive all over every damn road there is and trust me, you can find what you are looking for around here...

 

Got a specific road that's you think is the worst?

 

Yeah you would think with all the money they make off of bridge tolls and meter tickets our roads would be perfect

 

air up your tires to their max for the ride. that'll help shake the hell out of ya.

 

Toyota always fills mine up to 42psi when the sticker on the door jamb clearly states to fill them up to 26/29 psi.

I get great gas mileage but every little bump on the freeway makes me feel like my back end is going to swing out from behind me

 

You're also going to wreck your tires by wearing out the centre first, and your contact patch is significantly reduced which is going to give you way less cornering stability on pavement.

StageCoach near Pescadero is fun and shitty at the same time?

 

I went on a bunch of of skyline and seems like the county was a step ahead of me. Didn't find anything really nasty. Looking for big potholes.

 

I know that the newby island dump has a dick ton of ruts from when the tractors roll over them. try a dump day?

 

yeah I promptly air them back down whenever I get my truck back from any of their services. I learned the hard way after nearly getting into a wreck from how rough the ride was the first time I let it slide.
