Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I would have used something like bailing wire. Melting plastic smells like shit. I agree with everyone else though, there's Cannon Muffler here in La Habra that would bend you up some new hangers for almost nothing.

Mine is dumped before but I have a straight through "race" muffler. When I had my Flowmaster it was in the same spot, present, but not overwhelming at all. But my tastes may be a bit... more tolerant.

If it makes you feel any better a simple radio turn up fixes it easily? Although with the Blackwidow muffler around 75-85mph conversation can be a bit difficult with the in-cab sound.

I wouldn't worry about that. It's so hot it'll burn off any water and push it out pretty easy. If you're really concerned you'd need an all stainless steel exhaust from the cat(s) back. Remember: (healthy) catalytic converter by-products are CO2 and H2O.

I've gone through some good water crossings with no issues so far. If in doubt I just keep my foot on the accelerator even lightly so there's some extra push.

If the 3rd gens are like the 2nd's there's two little arms that hang down from the tire carrier under the bed that will get in the way first: cut those off if you're worried about where the muffler/exhaust goes.

Lastly, no one mentioned the possibility of damaging the exhaust when it runs out the back! @eon_blue

    Great point!

I guess out the back becomes a possible clearance issue. Hmm... Maybe I'll have it dump after all.

Be prepared for that exhaust to find its way a bit louder inside!

Loud exhaust is better than quiet exhaust imo. I hate how quiet and wimpy the exhaust in the Tundra sounds

Definitely agree. Which is exactly why I went with my Blackwidow Race Venom! :burnrubber:
I'd say if you were camping at Hungry Valley it's a great offshoot on the way out? It's a cool trail even for a day trip. If you like climbing shit, huge views, and a fairly relaxing drive? It's pretty cool.

What do you guys think of Gorman? For a future meet. Not too much further than Rowher, I haven't done it yet myself. Looks like fun from the pics I've seen

It costs a few bucks but has a bunch of areas available for camping. I've been there once but it's quite large & would take a few days to cover every inch. Also a decent variety in difficulty on trails
