Just street impressions so far; they actually seem to ride more comfortably. Possibly a function of less preload than with the 650s, but that isn't supposed to matter with linear rate springs. Still had to crank the driver side pretty good to take out the lean.

Thanks for the kind words gents! If these don't sell, I'll send them to Icon for a rebuild and a spring upgrade and swap them back onto the truck in the future.

The revalve should be a breeze for icon to handle from what i know. Make sure to clean them up before hand when you send them in though!

There's an internal 7/8" bumpstop on the standards. Remove it and you've got extended travel. I believe Icon will do it for free during the rebuild process

From the Icon shock service page, they charge $125 per for a rebuild. Fairly sure they will also convert them to extended travel at no additional cost during a rebuild, but buyer should verify with them.

Talked to them on the phone about this yesterday. $125 per shock for a standard rebuilt and +$10 per side to change the internal spacer to make them extended travel. Or shell out $650 total for rebuilding, extended travel and add resis. Hope this info is useful and GLWS OP. Good price

Realize these are sold, but curious about the hazy finish on the shock tubes. Is it oxidized bare aluminum? Threads too?
