The truck reads the posts and gets back at him for the negativity.

Are you saying his truck is Entune with his thoughts?

Punny.. The truck is Entune so much with the driver that his trip does not reset but resets his ecu every time he cuts it on. Thus granting him a new lesson everyday on how to enjoy the truck like new.

LOL...STFU ? That`s very funny kid. No need to post a fuelly I could post a picture everyday of my daily miles and daily mpg and you still would not believe it.

Also, go back and look and you will see that it was in ( P ) that P stands for PARK. So whatever.

Never mind going back to look, here is the same pic, can you see that great big P highlighted ? Can you see that the current mpg in the pic shows that I was getting 0 mpg ???

Every time you coast down a flat road and park you post your mpg. Anyone can do that. If I drove on the highway all day with no city driving and posted the tank average it would show the same. Your selective samples show us little to nothing. Post your fuelly

According to fuelly I'm averaging what most everyone else is. Almost 700k miles tracked, 2400 fuel ups and 18.8mpg is average for tacoma 3.5L. And also was about average for many 2nd gens. If you perceive facts to be negativity I can't help you.

Here`s another pic, I drove nothing but city miles today and it still only dropped it to 20.7.:notsure:

Do the math, it`s basic math, I have a little over half of a tank left and I have put 209.8 miles on the current tank. This will be my last response to the crybaby childishness because I won`t see anymore of it.

    2200 total miles. Built 01/16. AC 4x4, auto, V6.
Averaged 22 over last 3 fill ups. Mostly local, with some highway, rarely exceeding 60.

Just filled up for the first time with 230 miles on the clock and averaged 14mpg of 80% city driving. I also live in a hilly area. Looking forward to tracking mpg to see how it changes as the truck wears in, as well as experimenting which brands and octanes give the best and worst economy. Of course more is better, but if it stayed unchanged I would still be happy... if I wanted good fuel economy I'd go hug a tree and buy a prius :broccoli:

It should tell you on the screen (its usually pretty accurate), but if you are trying to check yourself you have to reset your trip computer when you fill up so that it reads 0. Then when you fill up again, take the number of gallons it took...for example 15.9 and divide the total miles on your trip computer(lets say it was 326 for that tank) 326/15.9 = 20.5 miles per gallon

My last post was 209.8 miles on the current tank, here it is 31 miles later at 71 mph on the interstate.
    Mpg 6-22-16-1.jpg
Below is when I parked in the driveway 8 miles later, at this rate I should get around 420 miles or more on this tank of gas, if I can keep my foot out of it. :D
    Mpg 6-22-16-2.jpg

I still can`t understand why so many people are getting below what the truck is supposed to be getting, I have gotten the advertised fuel mpg since day 1.

Stock tires too ? If so I don`t understand it, well yours is a 4x4 and I can`t remember what the advertised mpg was on them because I was not looking to buy a 4x4.

But you did buy the best looking color.:D
