I had an '09 CrewMax so it had the folding and sliding rear seats with space behind them rather than the '14+ ones that fold from the bottom. Looks like this minus the sub space since I didn't have JBL audio thus more space: 2012-Toyota-Tundra-CrewMax-Platinum-rear_2af4f1af88c328193e4fd349ebf4bff4a944567b.jpg

From what I can remember off the top of my head:
    140 piece toolkit
    3 ball size trailer hitch
    heavy duty tow strap
    fire extinguisher
    jumper cables
    12" sub + 500W amp
    multiple towels
    AC inverter
6 small ratchet straps for the bed
3 large ratchet straps for trailers/ATV/Tractors etc.
assortment of cables (HDMI/VGA/Power/USB cables etc.)
Camera gear (T3i plus a few lenses)
    Some jackets
    A few pairs of gloves
and who knows what else. The thing was huge. I do miss it, but I like fitting in the garage and getting 5 more MPG. I do miss feeling like I'm driving a tank though.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
My 1st gen likely has smaller cubbies, but I keep; snatch strap, d-rings, extra HID bulbs for OffRoad lights, bungee cords, jack toolkit, jumper cables, rope, extra quart of oil, Taco seasoning, and a slightly larger hydraulic bottle jack. I also keep a toolkit under the passenger seat.

I love it! I need to tweak the storage bin area where the sub enclosure is since it tends to rattle a bit, but it's great other than that. Gets stupid loud and stays completely clear. Tweeters are very sharp and crisp and the rear speakers are so much better than the stock ones. You can actually hear the song in the back seat now. For an 8" sub it hits pretty hard when you turn it up. It was pricey and I opted to have it installed professionally since it would probably take me a couple of days to do it.

If someone tells him to "go fly a kite", he's ready and willing.

Behind passenger, I have various nylon tie ropes a net, tarp and carpet pieces. Behind driver I have a tool bag (with various type of tape, zip ties, flat tire spray, knife, emergency flares, screw drivers, pliers, crescent wrench's and jumper cables, flash light (spare batteries) and, under that seat area I have a gun safe that is secured with a nylon wraped steel cable so I can lock my pistol up when I use valet drivers. This stuff never fit in the 2003 and took up a lot of back seat floor space.

In cubbies. Extra board shorts, towel, body soap and shampoo, first aid kit, tow strap, hatchet, sun screen, mouth wash, small tool kit, bocce ball set, hoodie, small pillow. And some baby wipes, other marines would understand why you always need baby wipes lol

Under seats: road tools on one side and extension cord and air compressor in the other.

All my friend ask me why I have them in my truck or in my packs in stuff and tell them about my marine days and how besides ammo and food and water those were next on the list lol. I guess not everyone carries them.
