Wow cool, wish I could afford RCV's too because my CV's bind at droop well before my CO or uniballs are maxed out. Not sure if it's an optical illusion but are the rear bumps mounted to the frame rail to bump off of the links ? Still a rookie with this stuff so not sure if that is a common thing and I just haven't seen it before. That thing is definitely going to be the most bad ass FJ for sure !

Curious to see if they keep this spindle or go with a custom spindle and incorporate a horizontal uniball.

heres another view of the suspension drooped out.. seem as though a coil over would still fit in there... and from what ive seen on the IG page they are keeping that spindle i thinkIMG_3336[1].jpg

Horizontal is for sure the way to go. Although, his kit is 4.5" over, so I guess the upper arms are long enough that a vertical uniball isn't awful.

I'm putting the spring pack together. I noticed some of the leafs are longer on one side from the center hole. Do you know which way they face? Deaver f67

Thanks man. That's what I started to think too because I Googled some images of the pack and best I could tell they go to the back.

LMAO, to think I thought I could get this done in a week! Looks ugly now but it'll be pretty when I'm finished with the rear. Lots of work still to do. Shocks cycle clean, no binding or rubbing. Clamps are a necessity when putting a spring pack together. I'm happy with the progress. Wasn't too excited about the stripped out deaver leaf pins. Gotta love going to the store just for a couple bolts that who knows how the he'll the stripped. Definitely didn't seem like a grade 8 bolt you would think would hold the leafs in the center. Every day I plug away more and more. Have more done than this. About to put her shoes on so she can feel the ground after 3 weeks. Pretty much brakes, finish weld, prime and paint, and put the bed back on. Not a trophy truck or like some of the other rigs on here but I'm proud and happy. All done in my garage by someone who didn't even know what LT was 2 years ago.

    Kinda stock

Looks good one thing I might add is try out full articulation. I'm not too familiar with those rod ends joints. Just want to make sure the shock can angle in and out a bit for when you crawl.

Pretty sure I ran it through its paces. I pushed it all the way till the spring pack started binding, was horizontal and going into negative arch. The rod ends swiveled around good clearing the tabs.

Does it touch the frame? Also are you going to plate the frame and put in a new cross member?

The axle or the shock touch the frame. No, my full bump for the axle is about 6 to 9" from the frame and the shocks stay clear throughout the entire range of motion. I have about 1 to 1.5" of shock clearance at all times from the rails. No, I'm just going to put a tube across the very back of the frame but nothing else right now. Maybe box the frame in at some point but hopefully I won't get enough air to fold the frame.

id just box under the mounts for the bed cage so that C channel doesn't bend up or down on you.
