Maybe I never noticed it because I'm always looking out the back window when backing up.... ;)

Can anyone confirm for me please...

SR grille and bezel. Both are matte black?

I gotta get rid of the teenage braces grille on my OR before it drives me insane.

(No, I'm not getting a custom grille, wallet says no...)

Tried this before my original post because that's how my Alpine worked in previous trucks; as I mentioned, the volume decreased to a little less than half rather than just pausing the music. IIRC, doing this paused the music or turned the music all the way down.

Thank you. I know one of the plain grilles is gloss charcoal. Just don't want to order that one...

I have a question about the navigation. I change the view using the upper left part of the screen on the home screen and it only keeps this view for a few days. After that it goes back to it always pointing north instead of the direction I'm facing. This just started happening about a week ago and happens every few days but it did stay for a month and a half or so. Does anyone know of a way to save this setting so it never changes? I read the manual and it just says how to change it but nothing about it changing on it's own. It's just a hassle to have to have to keep changing it back every few days. Thanks!

I wonder if this is tied to the same hiccup of the trip ODO resetting randomly?

Yes it works great. I have made a number of changes. Well worth the money and not having to go to a dealer to make changes.

Do you have a list of what that app can do? The carrista website doesn't list it (or I can't find it)

I don't remember it all but. Change blinker 3,4,5,6 blinks. Most door chimes. Headlight length of time after shut off to stay on. Interior light controls. Seatbelt chime off but light in dash stays on. Some HVAC settings. Most warning chimes and dings off/on like leaving moonroof open. I posted pics somewhere in a thread about it. Try searching Carista.

Anyone know if you can download off road trails / maps into the onboard navigation? I know Jeeps have this functionality, it would be awesome to load local trails into my Taco.

When you have your headlights on/switch rolled all the way forward, do the outer "button" areas of your Entune 7" go dim during the day? My '12 I left my lights on all the time and the buttons going dim on this model makes it hard to read in the daylight; the odo/dimmer does nothing to them.

Also, is there a part number for the TRD pro grill that fits the 16? Where do you get them?

I have an SR grill and it is glossy-er than the SR5 grill. The SR5 grill matches all the rest of the black on the truck better
