Does any one know what the tow package actually comes with? I think I may have been duped. I supposedly bought my 16 with the tow package, but I don't see a trans cooler. If anyone has pictures of their tow package with factory trans cooler I would much appreciate it.

If your truck came with the reciever, then it should have the tow package which comes with the trans cooler.

Class-IV towing receiver hitch,13 ATF cooler (not available on manual transmission), engine oil cooler, power steering cooler, 130-amp alternator, 4- and 7-pin connector with converter, and Trailer-Sway Control (TSC)23 (V6 only)

It means that your transmission can heat up faster.

Usually manual transmissions run cooler though. Your clutch is what creates the most heat due to friction, which is intended. Also, they are simpler. (No oil touches your clutch)

An automatic transmission has clutch packs which create heat. Oil runs through those packs. That's why automatic transmissions have coolers.

If his dealership sold it to him on the premise that it had a transmission cooler despite being a MT then he was duped.

It says on the sticker what it is loaded with. I can almost bet you a beer that it did not say that. Otherwise everyone with a MT and a tow package would be able to sue.
