Wow best advice I have herd in 4 days. Thank you so much for answering the questions.

So I will be having a shop do what you said with the tie rods. Both tie rods are completely maxed out inward, and so your saying they can trim them and that will allow them to come more inward to be able to align the truck? What should I specifically tell them to do?

The boot has been removed and there is no liquid leaking. As for it being straight I couldn't tell you for sure.

Should I just buy another inner tie rod end? I'm assuming it got bent if they get bent just from wheeling.

So if both my tie rods are maxxed INWARD, can I unscrew the inners and trim them so they can pull the toe back into allignment?

Seems easy enough and my allignment tech told me if he had 2 more turns INWARD on the tie rods he could allign my truck perfectly.

Just ordered the 5 inch lift bilsteins and 2.5-3inch eibach coils. Gonna take off my strut spacers and oem shocks and put the new stuff on. My truck will have about 7.5-8 inches of lift with the top plate spacers ! No more rubbing with my 34.5 inch tires!

The front shocks start with a F. If you go to bilsteinlifts.com you will see there is 2 different ones that are for 5 inch lift. Just get the first ones which model number starts with a F. Sorry I can't find the model number at the moment. There won't be a pic of them either in the website. I know about them because of another member in here put me on to them. They also have the rear shocks too. But my lift kit came with new rears so I'm good on those

Looks good! Are you running a carrier bearing drop? Any vibes?

Yes...the one that came with the Pro Comp lift kit......currently thinking it's not enough though. My initial take off from a dead stop has a pretty big vibe.....settles out after about 10mph. But I know my carrier bearing & all U-joints need replacement since I'm at 125,000 miles.

Don't waste any money trying to make your OE driveshaft work with that much lift. If you space your carrier bearing any more then your front half shaft is going to be past spec too. With that much lift your only solution is to switch to a one piece double cardon drive shaft. Tom Woods makes/sells them and they ship for free.

With the normal 6" lift I had the 15 to 20 mph shake.....that's gone now that I added more lift.....just the takeoff now. As Evenflow mentioned...the 1 piece shaft would help a bunch. I plan to change the same things as you first to see what happens.

Your vibe is because your driveline is operating outside of its tolerances. The U joints are not designed to operate outside of 3.5 degrees and you are seriously probably double that. Replacing u joints and carrier bearing will not solve it...you might as well just light that money on fire...or Paypal it to me. Even if you add a 5 degree axle shim and drop your carrier bearing further you are still going to have vibes and as mentioned before - your front shaft will now cause you probes too. Ask me how I know... Read this : http://www2.dana.com/pdf/J3311-1-DSSP.pdf

Before you spend a penny on any parts crawl under your truck with a digital angle finder and measure everything to see what I mean...then apply that money you just saved to a nice drive shaft from Tom Woods.

What ya want Rick....hub to fender measurements.....fender to ground? I know the front is around 9". Rear is in the 11" ballpark.

I think around $400 shipped. I have bought alot of drive shafts over the past few yrs from Tom Woods. They have always been great to deal with.
