That's funny, because I took it off my 3rd Gen and sold it to a guy this morning with a 2nd Gen and he just text me a pic of it on his truck. He installed it on his 2015 during his lunch break.

Just for knowledge yes they will. The 2nd Gen version holds 75 pounds and the 3rd Gen version holds a 100 pounds. That is the only difference.
