What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I have ribbed plate,factory cover and threaded inserts/bolts
All I know is I couldn't get the gate open the first time I thought it was the pop a lock so I unscrewed everything from inside the cab to pull on the lever. Just to find out the latch was to tight to release

 

Finally properly wired up my light bar with a proper dashboard switch, did the 400w anytime mod and installed an additional 110v outlet in the center console.

 

Maybe flat makes difference.... IDK

 

Did you get the upgraded hardware for tailgate skin? or did you just used your factory bolts?

I did this upgrade on my truck earlier this year. I bought the non-ribbed skin, the tailgate cap, and the upgraded hardware from Mobtown. I also reinstalled the oem skin on top of the Mobtown skin. The first time I tried to close the tailgate it wouldn't close all the way. I ended up removing the oem skin, and drilling holes on both sides of it for the little rubber stops to fit into. It closes great now. And yeah, the tailgate sure has some heft to it now. This has been one of the most useful mods I've done to my truck.

installed my morimoto fog lights, turns out retro fit store is local. LED headlights and DRL from jumper. installed a Jon boat. But already broke the trailer light hook up anyone have one laying around
