Yeah I've got the space and tools and whatnot, just so busy that I'm about to resort to just paying a shop to do it....

I would SAS but I just don't have the time to take my truck down to SoCal, find a front axle, rebuild it/make it look pretty again etc.. Plus if I am going to SAS then im going to run 40's.. Which means I have to upgrade my rear axle, breaks etc.. It just adds up too quickly haha Ill do another build after im done with school that'll be on 40's, probably won't be a taco though :spy:

Ugh, I want to LT my truck too but financially and realistically it makes no sense. Which kit are you planning on going with?

I'm down! I saw a thread on here a couple years ago where someone just cut the parts off, weld on extended components, and bolted them back on to make it long travel. Seems legit. I'm sure Evan from Marshall Fab will do that for me. You offering to help me re-install the lower shock bolt?

Yeah width. +2 is already wide enough, then add 35's and ill be squeaking through! Also because I don't want to run a 3.5" (or close to) spacer in the rear to match the track width

It is a lot of money but if I stay mid travel then Ill have to get new UCA's and want new LCA's anyway. So the cost of that versus selling my current setup and going LT isn't a huge difference.

I just replaced my LCAs (TC UCA's) and I tried so hard to convince myself to just go LT but the cost is still way more. You could have new aftermarket ucas and stock lca's for sub $1200 and not have to mess with axles reinforced upright new coilovers straps etc. I really wanted lt but I realized I'll just get a cherokee if I want to wheel hard in west wa. But I I will crawl the sh$t out of my taco at the mall... I'm prepping for stepping up to 33's.

I dont think I saw a tire smaller than 35”. That guy in the Jeep  keep your arms in the vehicle at all times. Good way to break your wrist/arm or loose a limb.
