Instead of getting a 3" leaf pack from alcan could you get any other 3" leaf pack from another manufacturer?

I was just contemplating going with what silverseven said, but instead of the alcans go with a different leaf pack if I could save a few hundred $$. This is all in the distance future though, I have so many other things I want to do before changing my rear suspension up.

well its a 6" pack you would need. 3" pack for the 3" lift.

You could get deavers, or any other custom spring manufacturer, but they could be different lengths, The reason i said alcan is because i know they work, thats what i troubleshot with. Alcan 6" taco pack + 1.5" XJ shackles + Fire931 flip kit = perfect

With the normal bumpers with the hitch installed what class hitch will it be? Will it still be a class 4 or does it drop?

Gotcha, I thought you were using a 3" pack, and the shackles/flip on your 6" lift. Are the shackles necessary, or just used for additional lift?

I got a quote a while back from alcan. I assume they have all the specs they need for a 6" tacoma?

Thanks for the link. This setup is definitely on my to do list.

    I cant remember. I think i went 350.

The shackles are necesary since the stock ones are too short the spring sits on the frame.

Also, the stock mounts are not prime for the alcans, Since the springs are longer they have to be forced into stock location putting tension on them. With my setup the springs are at their perfect arch. The shackle angle is perfect. Its really amazing how wel it works together.
