    Specifically I'm looking at the 5" basket that mounts in factory mounts...but I'm not totally sure

    The "plan" is to carry 2 kayaks so I can get away from having to use the trailer...not sure if the flat rack or basket would suit me better

    I would almost think the flat utility rack would work best to strap down the kayaks instead of the basket rack. More surface area in touch with the kayaks with the utility? :notsure:
