Sounds like a torn labrum. Been through it. Not fun and even after surgery, my shoulder will never be the same... So uplifting, right?? ;) probably doesn't help that I'm still pretty rough on my body between going to the gym twice a day 5 days a week and the constant abuse from mountain biking. CBD ointment does wonders for the pain though.

USAA thinks I'm committing insurance fraud because of this rat problem. I got questioned and recorded over the phone yesterday about why I have aftermarket parts and how often I perform my own repairs on my vehicle. They think I spliced those wires and couldn't put them back together. I guess the rat shit and mesquite beans on the engine block weren't a good enough sign.

That's true, but I've filed 2 insurance claims with them in 6 years. Just so happens both those claims are within the last 6 months.

I got questioned about the tree falling on my truck. USAA questioned why I gotten the policy 4 days before it happened. They realized I had been with them for 4 years already. I'm sure any insurance company would have done the same to make sure they aren't paying out money when the insurance company doesn't have to.

I used geico when I hydro locked my engine. They had the adjuster at the shop within an hour, and a check cut 2 hours later. I was very impressed with how simple and easy the process was.

I got some xrays and MRI's a while ago.. its all jacked. no cartilage left holding the ball and socket together... and they would need to go in and fuse it back to the bone. that and its starting to wear down the bone on the cup side so it happens so easily now. its come out no joke, probably 20+ times. My fix is usually just let the muscle relax and pop it back in pretty quickly.. but its been a couple years since the last time.. so it did not want to go back in this go around.. hurt like a mofo.

Reminds me of the scenes in Lethal Weapon where Martin has to pop his arm back into place.

Idk. Doesn't help this tiny Toyota dealership only has one certified tech for this repair. They've had it since last Thursday. I called yesterday and he said they had just got the the manifold cover off.

Hate driving this fame Ford Focus rental.

    Rant complete. Back to studying....

Yup, definitely labrum tear. Same thing happened to me, and unfortunately since I let it go for so long, did irreparable damage to the cartilage and socket, hence the constant nagging pain. The fix required 13 anchors to reattach the labrum to the socket and roughly 6 months of recovery time. Not fun!!

if there's one saving grace is that my shoulder now finally stays in place whereas much like yours, before the surgery it was dislocating all the time, which got me in trouble on my bike a few times.. Nothing quite like landing a big jump or dropping of a large ledge and having your should dislocate upon landing.. Kinda makes staying vertical more than a little challenging. So for me, if I wanted to keep riding and lifting, it just had to be done, but the longer you wait, the more damage you'll do that you wont be able to fix..

Buuuut, I definitely know where you're coming from, I drug mine out as long as I could...

for sure man. I know I need to do it.. might start lookin into it again.. :/

and yeah that would suck for sure! you feel so helpless.. I know what you mean. I've had it come out a couple times while at the river.. a couple times at the lake. swimming is very difficult with one arm. one time I was climbing the cliffs at the river to jump off.. and it came out mid climb.. couldnt climb up or down.. so just pushed myself off the side of the cliff like a damn frog and threw myself into the river. lol driving, basketball, just messing around.. it comes out alllll the time.

State Farm accused me of having my car stolen then committing fraud many years back. After 8 months of battling them, I got my check. I provided middle fingers for all around and have never once set foot in their offices since.

I have no input for the shoulder problems, but your signature pic looks awesome.

It's like I pay $200 a month for 2 vehicles for the last 6 years and they have never heard peep from me. I make 2 claims for the same reason in 6 months and they start throwing around the fraud word.
