Yeah, I don't know anybody with a boat so that's part of my problem. The other part is that I don't have one of my own.

I'd prefer to go out on the water with somebody a few times first to get to know the waterways before I try to venture out on my own.

my lady-friend just had her dad give her their old key west and weve been out twice and already had the battery die on us and get towed back to the landing. that reminded me why I never have had a large to drive to buy a damn boat. luckily we were going out of McClellanville so the landing traffic wasn't near as bad as chucktown.
