If that's River Ranch I own property out there that my dad bought back in the 60s or 70s. Haven't been out there yet...

 

Son u have no idea what ur missing it is 70 Sq mi of riding the place is amazing u should check it out

 

I'll have to look into accessing it. I understand you have to be an owner or guest of an owner to get in? I'd be interested to see where the plot is, even if it's under water.

 

It's kind of a tricky thing he may have owned a access lot in the hunting area the just gains u access to the ranch or he may have owned in the camping area we u can have ur lot surveyed and actually put up a camp my in laws camp is about 2in of standing water right now. My camp burned down last thanksgiving

 

Wow! Sorry about the water and fire...I didn't know you could actually put up camp if you're in the right area.

Now I really want to see where it's located and check out the ranch. I'm not big into mud with my trucks but I'd buy an ATV or something to run around in!

Went out to river ranch. That place is lame. Sugar sand all over some spots were cool but citrus in my opinion was way better. For atv and side by sides it's great

 

People are building full blown compounds with moats and walls lol the big money came in and it really changed the place but yes contact the rrpoa and they will help u if u can't figure it out give me a shout and I will help ya out and show u around

 

Timbo u gota know were to go in 70 Sq miles ur not gona just stumble on the good spots to play ya kno

Lol I hear ya it took me about 4 years of running dogs by myself to learn my way around

 

Also I guess it's about enjoying the woods I mean if u wanna drive in a gate and hit some holes then go do a obstacles it's not the place for u
