Gokuflex... an inspiration for us asians hahaha. One of the few lifting youtubers that isn't just full of it IMO. I'm currently following one of his workout routines that one of my gym buddies got from him.

GNC is garbage. Much better options out there. Period. Their employees don't know squat either.

I'm currently on a 14 day split PPL routine. Noticing a hell of alot more gains as compared to when I was doing just one muscle group a day.

PPL is life. I've been doing it for a while now though so I'm thinking about going back to a bro split for a change. So did your friend pay for that routine? Let me know how it goes.

One muscle group a day per week is only 52 workouts a year for that muscle group.....definitely not gonna see gains doing 52 arm work outs a year.....

    Or doing crossfit lol

why i love my workouts. Each major muscle group 3 x per 8 days = 136 per year :) to max effort or 3-5 rep counts if needed.

Yeah, I'm totally done with them now. Usually, I only go there if I run out and need protein that day. Other than that, I'm pretty exclusive to bb.com, but I'm gonna try Vitamin Shoppe out since I have that coupon.

I'm gonna give them a try.

    Lefties unite!

Yeah, I've hada few run-ins with them onver the years, but yesterday was the final straw.

I tried PPL but it got confusing on some that were somewhere in the middle of a push and a pull. It really just turned into a chest and shoulder day for push and everything else was a pull.

    So 'Pull' is just back?

I would consider most tricep and bicep movements as 'pulls'

    So basically I just ended up doing Chest/Shoulder (push) - Back/Arms (pull) - Legs - Chest/Shoulder (push) - Back/Arms (pull) - Legs...which is each muscle group 2x week.

I do Chest/Tri - Legs - Back/Bi - Shoulders - Legs - Uppers...which is each muscle group 2x week without confusing what is a pull or push movement...

    :notsure:

Triceps on push days. You're already using them during your press movements. I usually just add an accessory movement like extensions. I'll do close grip bench if I'm feeling good.

Pull days are back and biceps. I'll do shrugs and some rear delts.

Leg days are squats and deads, calves etc.
Just kidding fuck calves . also abs

I think its been said, but you def want to lock out with the bar over your head, it should be in line with your spine (so imagine if you drew a line directly up along your spine, the center of the bar would touch that line. by "popping" you head forward on the lockout will help achieve this).
