Prerunner offrading abilities

I have been looking at some threads and it seems that some prerunners are doing some decent offrading. Are the prerunner OR and Sport models decents at mild to modert offroading. Just some stories and examples of what some guys have been through with prerunners would be cool to hear.

 

I do some mild to moderate off-roading, nothing to crazy and my truck does great!!! I have a 4x4 but I rarely even put it in 4-wheel drive.

 

They could certainly hold their own. If you want to offroad and get a prerunner I suggest you get the OR because they have the locker in the rear if you didn't already know that.

 

If you're smart with it and know your limits you can do more than you'd probably think... but even some things you'd think you could make through you'll get stuck without 4x4. The real key is to never go alone and go with a 4x4 that can pull you out if you do get suck. The e-locker works pretty well though I must say

There are plenty of prerunners that would make it up that...

We did a run at Cleghorn in socal the other night and you should see how awesome the prerunners did. they kept up very well with the 4xs

 

Number one rule while going Off Roading, never go alone. Remember this rule and you won't have any problems.

 

i was really surprised by the prerunners the other night. they did in fact do everything except one hill that the 4xs did. they did need to go at it alot more agressive than the 4xs but never the less they made it.
