I had a signature banner that some considered offensive, I took it down. Easy as that. I did not recieve negative rep for it. I don't think there should be negative rep. If you have a problem with somebody or something that was said, PM the person. That way you can't hide like a coward. Your name will be right there when they open it. If you have a complaint and you don't want that person to know it than PM a moderator. That's why they make the BIG BUCKS!! I think we should all have thicker skin. Don't let somebodies avatar ruin your day, ignore it or ask them to change it. Thanks, I'm done ranting!;)
By the way, how do ya like my avatar?

I'm offended by all the signature banners showing running Tacomas.

as far as things being offensive...i know i for one had an issue with mm signature...though never a "problem" so to speak...it was dealt with accordingly and i felt very politely...

i know that avatars, signatures, and images can be turned off on the forum...and i think that typically would be my answer...however...in the case of turning off signatures...thats how i recognize posters etc...it totally throws me off if someone changes theirs :p

i think when the mm sig issue came up i mentioned that i had an issue with it...however my solution was NOT to neg rep anyone or pm the mods or anything like that...but rather i was just going to have to quit browsing while on work computers...no biggie...

avatars to me are not an important part of the forum (imho) so if i were to find one personally offensive i'd just turn the damn things off

    In case you didn't know!
Green Bar Thingy is Positive Reputation
Red Bar Thingy is Negative Reputation
Black Bar Thingy is from someone who sent you rep but hasn't earned enough rep points yet.

I've never given negative rep,but if I ever see the need to I'd sign my name, just as I do with any positive......I did however receive an unsigned negative a couple of days ago.
