Busted sleeping on the couch the other morning....again

 

What do you mean busted?? That's where they're supposed to be...

Lol not on the furniture. They have their own beds and they know they aren't supposed to be on the couch but they do it anyway once we go to bed.

 

Man, if anyone in my family told me to not let my dog on the couch on the basis of "they have their own bed"... the second they sat down on the couch and started to pass out after thanksgiving or Christmas dinner I'd be in their face saying "you've got your own bed, go sleep on that!!" lol

She looks like a rottie... she's got pretty similar coloring and markings that mine had

 

Yep she's a Rottie and we have a GSD also. If we let them on the couch we wouldn't have anywhere to sit. Plus the GSD hair is horrible. We vacuum so much that we wore out a Dyson.

 

That's an easy fix... just vacuum less

 

Haha, not with my wife's OCD. Neither of us are interested in GSD hair tumbleweed cruising through the house.

This is actually Archer's chair, nobody else sits in it.

He also commandeers 2/3's of a queen size bed.

 

Yup my 6 month old lab pup made not getting on the couch and my bed the only things she won't learn. She broke me on that one....plus I enjoy the snuggles when she hops up by me.

 

Both our pups will get on the couch here and there, but not real often. The only time we try to stop them is if they are wet and/or dirty. The 2 of them also take up about 2/3rd of our bed at night. Glad we have a king! They aren't very cuddly at night but they sure are in the mornings.

 

Four years ago, today, I brought home this lunatic like animal.

Riley will sit and stare at whomever is sitting in "his" seat

 

I'll sit in one spot, get up, come back and my dog will be sitting where I was. Go to another seat, get up, dog moves over there haha.

 

This whole no getting on the couch thing is pretty much been a lost cause for me. I'll tell them to get down which they do until they think I'm not looking.
