Anyone have experience with vinyl wrapping and its ability to not tear from scratches?

My paint is beyond effed up for being a year old... I'd maybe be up for cleaning it up, buffing the paint out as much as possible and wrapping the truck. But dont want to waste my time and end up with wrap that is going to peel off or just tear when it gets dragged along branches on trails.

Then I'd have to decide whether I want to just wrap it with a matte clear or another color.

And any idea how much one would need to wrap a truck? 5'x50' work or would I need something closer to 100'? With clear I would be able to skip doing the roof since it shouldn't see much abuse.

Oh I'm still up for that, but it usually skips over us here in Golden, and I dont spend much time east of Denver where I'd have a better chance. haha

Yankee Hill the other weekend really did a number on both sides, it looks pretty shitty right now even when its dirty.

A small handful of select mods.
You would need something thicker like clear bra if you want it to stand up to anything. Regular vinyl will not hold up. Even then I think that tree branches will catch on any vinyl and rip it.

Was anyone from here at Stranahan's yesterday? My boss showed me some pics of a SICK rig that was in the parking lot yesterday, custom looking bed rack, RTT&awning, HCrear bumper, rotopax galore, etc..whole shebang, beautiful setup. nice #EAF sticker too

Dang, I carpooled to work today, and my 2016DCLB is sitting in my driveway in a hailstorm (golden/arvada) right now... I'm using my garage for house projects... I need to get a cover for my truck or something...

See, I told you... the black cloud hovered over me, no rumbling or even a hint at a drop of rain though.
