I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. The reason I'm using them is, my parents have bought their last 3 or 4 trailers there and always been treated well. Granted, they were buying a bigger trailer than I'm looking at but that shouldn't matter. Eventually, I'll be upgrading and will remember this experience.

So I just moved to the New England area, and I'm looking for any good trails to drive, but I've heard from a few people there isn't much in the way of good public trails in New Hampshire. Any recommendations in the area?

Legally? That's what my boss likes to say all the time. Lol. I won't go into any of the legal stuff (not sure I know enough) but I can tell you that I get the doc fee's thrown in most of the time.
There are plenty in NH. Go to a website called Exploring NH. They have a whole section on mapping of legal trails. I wish they were closer to me that's for sure

I'm really looking for a bit of everything. Without sounding too generic, moderately challenging trails especially if it's has a fun destination like a lake or what not tucked away, however I'm not really looking for big game rock crawler stuff. I truthfully just want to explore as much of NH and the surrounding states as I can. I've heard VT has some good spots, I'd like to make my way over there.

In mass is considered discrimination. Ny caps their doc fees at 75 which isn't bad. Florida is the wild west, they'll have $1500

I know when I bought the Tacoma I paid a small doc fee but that's because I only paid $300 over cost. Not $300 over the add pack cost but $300 over the actual cost.
For my wifes car I negotiated a OTD price like what Mike did. When they tried to add the doc fee in I stood firm and wasn't taking it. The finance person and salesman were arguing about it right in front of me. My suggestion to them and what they eventually ended doing was discounting the car more and adding the doc fee in to total my agreed OTD price. Either way it all equalled out.
There are usually ways to work around that stuff.

Well... I just cut bait and walked away from the NY dealer, looks like a road trip to PA is in my near future. PA turned out to be over $1,000 less (and keep in mind this is not an expensive trailer to begin with). For that kind of money, I'll make the trip and the dealer is putting me up for a night at a local campground for free with my new camper.

VVV Same exact trailer, just a small, self contained trailer. It's a Summerland 1800BH FS, made by Keystone.

How far down in PA? I did the down and back when I got my trail truck in one day. That was the Harrisburg area.

Milroy, PA. It's about the same drive. It's about an hour N-NW of Harrisburg. Says it'll be about 6.5 hours one way. I'll have the family so it'll be more like 9 hours.
