What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Since you're in the land of Jeeps, I'd find some 255 BFG MTs that some schmuck replaced on his rubicon.

So many jeepers go right to 35s when they buy their new jeep, so finding rubicon takeoffs is pretty easy.

 

Threw the all pro front bumper on with skid plates & reentless in the rear, came out pretty well!

I'm pretty sure the smallest bolt on wheel spacer is 3/4" from Bora.

I found Bill Ford a pleasure to work with when I ordered from Alcan. I started with their online tool that lets you describe eactly what you are wanting from your new spring. Followed that with aphone conversation with him. I got exactly what I was looking for in terms of performance.

 

You should just start ignoring my comments on alcan, each time you remember something completely different.

Standard ride height and 300 lbs over stock with a shell on back. I wasn't upset at the rough ride from some crazy stiff springs, the springs sat with negative arch WITH JUST THE SHELL and slammed the bumps with anything else in the bed. the owner was a complete dick when I spoke with him.

 

It's gonna be 600$+ depending on how much weight you want to add.

 

So did you go pick them up or have them shipped? Just wondering if the price he quoted me was with shipping... I'd rather go pick them up.

 

I had them shipped to me.

 

im i correct in thinking that i will need about a 3/4" spacer then to clear stock uca's?

Did they charge you extra for it or did they have that included in the price they first gave you?

 

There was a shipping charge but I don't recall how it was presented. How much did they quote you?

They said 650$ for the springs I don't know if that includes shipping

powerstop verses callahan brakes any difference or just costs? any opinions? will be doing a little towing but not to big of a trailer maybe 20" max and 3200lbs remember im 2wd...
