Funny, I don't recall inviting any of you but, in the nature of being neighborly... You are invited to stay in my camper. I will be somewhere in PA, at some campground, sometime later this year. See you then!

That's a great camper, almost pulled the trigger the same one...Bought a bigger one instead. I camp all over New England, I have great suggestions for campgrounds if you need any. Good luck with it

Did you negotiate a weight distribution hitch and brake control?

I'm always open to new places! We camp a lot in central and upstate NY, central MA and trying places in NH and Maine. We typically stick to state campgrounds because the sites tend to be more secluded but always open to new recommendations.

Nope, they had a pretty down and dirty price. My truck already has a brake controller and I have my dad's old W/D hitch although I'm not sure I'll even need it. The trailer only weighs 3100 lbs and the tongue weight is around 400 lbs. I'll bring the setup with me and will decide if I want to use it. I actually just installed the brake controller last weekend. It's OEM so it will work with the truck so help reduce sway.

My TT weighed 3700 dry, but after you add the battery and propane tanks you'll probably be glad you have the WDH especially when a tractor trailer passes you on the highway.

You know what, I was thinking you were still in a Tacoma. You may be fine with the F-150.

Yeah, I'm not expecting a lot of drama towing that little guy. Single axle isn't great, I wish I were double but I think it'll be fine. It's only a single propane tank also. I actually think my pop up is heavier on the tongue than this new trailer will be. I might invest in sway control but apparently the Ferd brake controller does a good job keeping the trailer in line as long as you have it loaded properly.
