urgent abandond mr2

i have a cusin who bought a house in august. the previous owner left an mr2 so the house has had the mr2 on it for 16 weeks.......

how long has does a vehicle have to be abandon on a property befor it is officaly the property owners?

 

Uhhh...If he bought the house and the previous owner left it there...I don't think it's abandoned- I think it's a housewarming gift.

I would call the local police department tho...Usually there are laws about how many times and what methods of notification are required before you can claim abandoned property.

 

Just charge the previous owner $50 per day storage until they change the title over to you.

my cousin (she) bought a house from a family friend because he had to move to K.C. he has a huge house! well he had a kid living in the basemaent (owner of mr2) and he moved out last year...cars been there over a year. this guy being really nice didnt do anything about it. my cousin miss nebraska runner up....shes a witch with a b when it comes to people like that. so she said if i could legaly get the car. mine for free. its a white tinted lowerd. bose stereo mr2 manual.. its nasty!!!

Not always true...If the owner shows a specific neglect (like doesn't respond to mail/phone/newspaper notifications) it's considered abandoned and the state can issue you a clean/new title without the last owner being involved.

 

Take the car out, joy ride the hell out of it, then ditch it in a parking lot. when they run the numbers, they will track to the owner, not you.

not in nebraska. we have to have valid proof he hasnt live there for atleast 45 days and we have attpemted to make contact. we dont know where he lives and his old phone has been shut off. so the sherif will hand it over basicly (hopfuly on monday)
