They got rid of Tapatalk support because the app was shady and was using people's accounts to email and pm other members without their permission.

no other forums have had this happen, obviously a security issue. Its not just an isolated attack lol

I don't know about other forums but I think an easy fix to that issue would be getting rid of the culprit, no?

no, this is a bullshit fix that makes it harder for members to access the site. What the fuck would anyone want to LIMIT access when you rely on traffic?!

I didn't realize that many people used it. It was always clunky and confusing to me. The mobile site is much easier to use in my opinion.

Once you had it setup it was beautiful. I got pop ups that said "scottalot quoted your post" and I could see everything and I didn't miss a single post and picture uploading was so easy

I think a lot of people agreed on that. Not just me. There was a whole thread on it yesterday.

To me it looks like 4 people liked tapatalk a lot. Most are indifferent or prefer the mobile site. Plus they are coming out with an app so that should help.

I don't think they would do it if it was hurting them that badly.

I downloaded TapaTalk and had it on my phone for all of 4 minutes before deleting the app.

Regular phone browser was way better.

I used it for notifications for a while. I liked that part of it. Then I'd just go on the mobile site though.

:gossip: im no expert on the subject or anything but considering you are member 101544 and that was back in 2013 and now we are almost at 190k members 400 members is not alot to lose... And before tapatalk everyone used the desktop view anyway...
